RHSE Consultation

The updated statutory Relationships, Sex, and Health Education (RSHE) guidancetakes effect on 1st September, 2026 for all schools in England. It replaces the previous 2019 framework with a modernized curriculum that focuses heavily on online wellbeing, mental health, teaching practical skills for healthy relationships and empowering young people to make good, informed choices.

As part of the process of reviewing the RHSE curriculum, schools must consult with parents, in addition to governors and staff. As part of the consultation process we have a meeting on Tuesday 23rd June at 5.45pm

To allow stakeholders to make an informed response, parents, staff and governors will be asked to read through the following 2 documents:

                           Draft PHSE & RHSE

                           Draft Curriculum content & knowledge
