The School Council
Two children from each year group are elected by their peers to be members of the school council. The school council meets every 3-4 weeks to discuss any issues the children may have about life in school, for example playtimes. The school council also discuss what children enjoy and find most beneficial for their learning. Taking a lead in charity events, for example Comic Relief and Children in Need, is another task of the school council.
Our School Council met with HC3S, our school lunch caterers, last week to discuss the healthy eating plan. Our Parent Governor, Mrs Louise Brayn-Smith and our own Mrs Kelly also attended the meeting.
The meeting was very informative and the children were very keen to voice their opinions on school lunches.
