Safety Week
Week beginning 18th November was Safety Week at West Meon Primary. We have been covering many aspects of safety for the children, including Road Safety which was led by our Junior Road Safety Officers (JRSO); Speak Out, Stay Safe which is an NSPCC initiative; and promoting tolerance and respect as tools to combat discrimination and attempts at radicalisation.
The JRSO's gave a great assembly for all the West Meon children; their main message was - Be Bright Be Seen! Part of the presentation used the sound track of 'Staying Alive' with cartoon hedgehogs showing how it's done. The children continued to sing the song on their way back to the classrooms.
